ANLA committees add value to membershipfrom providing the association leadership and staff with specific industry expertise to exchanging ideas and information on a relevant topic or issue.
Committee members are appointed each February by the ANLA Board of Directors and typically serve three year terms.
ANLA has five types of committees:
- Task Force
- Networking
- Operational
- Program
- Technical Advisory
Task Force. A temporary grouping of individuals who are typically appointed for the accomplishment of a specific objective, usually limited in time and scope.
Networking. Committees which provide members the opportunity to exchange ideas/information in areas over which the association has no broad-based policy and/or program.
Program. Committees that act as resources for the design and implementation of broad-based association programming directed to member businesses.
Operational. Committees which provide oversight for ongoing association programs.
Technical Advisory. Committees which advise the Board of Directors on association policy in specific, ongoing issues and areas.
