Overview
The mission of the Landscape Division of the American Nursery & Landscape Association is to enhance the professionalism of its member landscape firms in designing, building and maintaining quality landscapes in a profitable and environmentally responsible manner; and to represent the landscape perspective within the industry. The Landscape Division adds value by offering business resources for specific needs of the landscape professional. These resources are designed to support the landscape professionals' efforts to be operationally efficient, market responsive, and environmentally responsible.
Landscape Division Benefits
Many successful Landscape Division programs foster landscape professional-to-landscape professional information sharing. These include Management Clinic networking sessions and ANLA Annual Convention tours, where design, installation and plant material tips are exchanged among owners and operators of landscape firms. Business-building information is also exchanged at the annual Landscape Operations Tour held in the summer at locations around the country. The Masters in Landscape Business Management is a new five semester program, taught by Marcus vandeVliet and designed to ensure you walk away with real world tools and knowledge that will immediately improve your business.
The ANLA Landscape Division also publishes an informative quarterly newsletter, Landscape News, as well as an email newsletter, Landscape E-news, eight times annually. Please email Colleen at cbeirne@anla.org if you wish to sign up to receive the Landscape E-news. The Landscape Division activities are overseen by its own board of directors and a staff administrator.
