ANLA Senate
The ANLA Senate represents the voting rights of the membership and is made up of representatives of member firms who approve the annual budget of the association, Bylaws changes, and serve as an important communication link between members, leadership, and staff.
Election
Each state in which there are eight or more Active and Associate Members who have paid their dues elects a Senator for a two-year term, unless the ANLA Board of Directors establishes a different term length in order to achieve balanced staggered terms within each region. Elections will be by mail ballot to all Active and Associate Members in the state, administered by ANLA staff, and completed no later than sixty (60) days prior to the next annual meeting of the Senate. A plurality vote will be sufficient for election.
