Marcus vandeVliet

Prior to emigrating from South Africa to the United States in 1985, Marcus vandeVliet obtained a degree in horticulture, managed a garden center in Johannesburg and served in the South African Intelligence Corps during the Angolan/Namibian War. Over the next 20 years, Marcus worked with several landscape companies to develop and implement operational systems, including Scenic Landscaping and Lipinski Landscaping, with annual revenues ranging from $500,000 to $23,000,000.

Once he discovered his personal life mission to extend the benefits of his experience beyond one company at a time, Marcus joined the staff of consultants of Vander Kooi and Associates, and started his own consulting firm, MV Consulting, in 2004. He is committed to improving the professionalism and profitability of the landscape industry, and wants to work with companies that are committed to achieving their full potential.
