Bob Coulter joined the team at JP Horizons in 2002 after serving as a coach and developer of people for twenty-two years in the hospitality industry. Bob has a unique background of operations and human resources experience that has helped him to play key leadership roles for ClubCorp, Marriott, and Radisson. In each stop of his career, Bob has helped individuals reach their potential and organizations maximize their performance.

He has worked extensively over the past eight years with more than 60 green industry businesses as their business coach, producing exciting leadership and sales results throughout each organization. Through his work with company owners, management teams and sales people, he has become an expert on the issues you face every day. Bob Coulter knows how to help you cut to the chase and realize what needs to be done right now to get the results you need.

Jean Ann Van Krevelen

Jean Ann Van Krevelen has been called “one of the most influential gardening communicators in the country.” She is currently the President of White Willow Media, a new media marketing company focused on providing services to the gardening and horticulture industries. She recently served as the first Director of Social Media for Cool Springs Press.

In 2009, Jean Ann Van Krevelen was signed to author the first social media savvy gardening book, “Grocery Gardening.” The book became a bestseller on Amazon and is currently in its second edition. She is also the co-host of the popular podcast, “Good Enough Gardening.”

Jean Ann has been named a Twitter 2009 Top 100 Entrepreneur, a Top 20 Green, Raw Organic Tweeter, a Top 50 Tweeters in Portland, one of the 2008 Top 50 People to Follow on Twitter, Top 30 Most Powerful and Influential Women in Social Media, and 30 Entrepreneurs to Follow on Twitter. She was also one of Portland Business Journal’s Forty Under Forty, and the Oklahoma Business Journal’s 50 That Make a Difference.

Charlie Hall

Dr. Charlie Hall grew up on a nursery in Western North Carolina. Although an economist by training, he is currently a Professor in the Department of Horticultural Sciences at the Texas A&M University and holds the prestigious Ellison Chair in International Floriculture. His major areas of specialization include innovative management and marketing strategies, financial analysis and benchmarking, and the situation/outlook for nursery and greenhouse crops.

He is an invited speaker at numerous regional, national, and international meetings of various industry-related associations and organizations. He is particularly known for the enthusiasm, passion, and intensity he exhibits when speaking. Dr. Hall is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association and has received TNLA’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Nursery Industry. He is also a member of the Hall of Fame and Honorary Lifetime Member of the Tennessee Nursery and Landscape Association.
