Guarantee and Refund Policy

ANLA offers a 30-day money back guarantee on almost every product and service we offer. For online educational products or in-person meetings registrations, please call customer service at 202-789-2900 to obtain a refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Cancellation fees may apply, and policies will be included in the information provided to Customer prior to completing your purchase. Shipping charges for product purchases, if any, will not be refunded.

Order Cancellation Policy

Please submit any cancellation via e-mail to customersvc@anla.org, or call on our business phone at 202-789-2900.

E-mail cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, product purchased, date of order, and e-mail address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions regarding the cancellation of your order.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged, shipped, or successfully downloaded. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via e-mail or phone) after a tangible product was shipped, your refund will not include shipping charges.

Warranty Policy for Downloads/Streaming Video

ANLA does not warrant that your computer system can correctly process downloads of files or streaming video content ("online content"). If you purchase a download or streaming video of an electronic product, and the content does not display in your system, please contact our tech support team at info@thedesignworks.com to determine whether your system can be configured properly. If not, you can choose to cancel the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation Policy.

Automatic Renewal and Payments

If you purchase a subscription to online content or authorize an automatic periodic payment of membership dues, the Initial Term of your purchase (length of time you will have access to the online content, or the term of your membership, and the timing of your payments) will be set forth in the Agreement when you make your purchase. AFTER THE INITIAL TERM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE, AGREE AND AUTHORIZE ANLA TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR SUCCESSIVE TERMS OF EQUAL LENGTH AS THE INITIAL TERM, UNLESS TERMINATED OR CANCELLED BY EITHER PARTY AS PROVIDED IN THESE POLICIES.

Termination of Automatic Renewal and Payments

Agreements for automatic renewal and payments may be terminated:

by either party by giving the other party written notice no later than thirty (30) days prior to the end of the Initial Term or any automatic renewal of a successive term (subject to an early cancellation fee payable by Customer),
by ANLA in the event of nonpayment by Customer,
by ANLA at any time, without notice, if, in ANLA's sole and absolute discretion and/or judgment, Customer is in violation of any term or condition of the Agreement or Customer's use of the content license disrupts or, in ANLA's sole and absolute discretion and/or judgment, could disrupt ANLA's business operations.

Failure of Customer to Terminate

If Customer fails to terminate an Agreement in accordance with these provisions, and attempts to cancel an Agreement prior to the end of the Initial Term of a subscription or after the automatic renewal of any successive term:

Customer is obligated to pay all fees and charges accrued prior to the effectiveness of such cancellation,
Customer will be obligated to pay one-half (1/2) of all charges for each month remaining in the Term as an early cancellation fee.
ANLA will refund any excess payments after Customer's obligations have been paid.

Termination of Agreement by ANLA

ANLA may terminate at Agreement:

if the content or service provided by ANLA is prohibited by applicable law, or becomes impractical or unfeasible for any technical, legal or regulatory reason, by giving Customer as much prior notice as reasonably practicable
immediately by giving written notice to Customer, if ANLA determines in good faith that Customer's use of content violates any term or condition. If ANLA cancels an Agreement prior to the end of the Term for your breach of an Agreement , the Customer's use of the content or service disrupts, ANLA shall not refund to Customer any fees paid in advance of such cancellation and Customer shall be obligated to pay all fees and charges accrued prior to the effectiveness of such cancellation; further, Customer shall be obligated to pay 100% of all charges for all content or services for each month remaining in the Term, and ANLA shall have the right to charge you an administrative fee of $100.00.

No Additional Rights Survive Termination

Upon termination of an Agreement for any cause or reason whatsoever, neither party shall have any further rights or obligations under the Agreement, except as expressly set forth herein. Termination of an Agreement and retention of pre-paid fees and charges shall be in addition to, and not be in lieu of, any other legal or equitable rights or remedies to which ANLA may be entitled.

Authorization for ANLA to Charge Non-member Price

The preferred member price is only for employees of ANLA member companies or for special promotions. If a company does not have its own email domain or a customer is using a personal email address, the login system may not be able to automatically verify membership status. If your membership status cannot be verified and you are certain that you qualify for the member price, you may proceed with your purchase. If you do not qualify for the preferred member price and you purchase online content at the preferred member price, YOU AUTHORIZE ANLA TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MEMBER PRICE AND THE NON-MEMBER PRICE.
