Warren A. Quinn, Esq., CAE
Vice President for Operations
Warren A. Quinn is Vice President for Operations with the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA), a Washington, DC-based trade association representing over 2,300 firms who grow, sell, and use landscape plants. He manages association operations, including financial and personnel administration. He is the managing editor of American Standard for Nursery Stock (ANSI Z60.1), approved in accordance with the procedures of the American National Standards Institute.
Quinn graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia in 1981 with a B.A. in Political Science. Following graduation, he was the Vice-President of his family's design/build landscape company, Quinn's Kingsville Nurseries, Inc., Kingsville, Maryland, for eight years. He later attended Emory University School of Law and has been a practicing attorney since 1992.
Quinn has been a member of the Maryland Nurserymen's Association and the Home Builders Association of Maryland, and is a Maryland Certified Professional Horticulturist. He became a Certified Association Executive in 2005, and currently serves as the Chairman of the CAE Exam Item Writing Committee, specializing in legal, finance, administration, and leadership development areas.
Quinn resides in Kingsville, MD with his wife, Lizanne, and two daughters, Abby and Emma.
